Microsoft: Rumor streaming technology: Xbox 360 and Xbox One games … – 4Players Portal

Microsoft apparently is working on a streaming technology that allows it to be possible that you can play games on the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One in a PC browser, it says the technology blog Neowin (via Game Informer and Games Industry). This could be a response from Microsoft on PlayStation Now.

According to the company would work on a streaming technology that will make it possible with minimum delay that console games can be played on the PC (in the browser) ( incl. dashboard console). Even a transmission of 60 frames per second is feasible, they say. Based on unspecified sources this should be the next “killer gaming feature” of Microsoft. According to the report, this project has allowed the planning phase behind and is currently being tested active. The reactions of the tester are described as fairly positive.

Although this is only a rumor, this streaming technology is related to already published by Microsoft Topics à la “Outatime” (previously “DeLorean”) to reduce delays (lag) in the transmission via streaming. The Outatime technology would successfully emulate the games over a network with low latency. <- Gui ScreenhotSet -> <- Gui ScreenhotSet end ->
