Technology Forum 2014: – PresseBox (press release)


         Variant Management and Product Line Engineering are the central themes of the 12th Technology Forum on 3 and 4 December 2014 in Nuremberg. Renowned speakers such as Dr. Charles Krueger, CEO of BigLever Software (Austin / Texas), Anita Carleton, Deputy Division Director of the Software Engineering Institute (Pittsburgh / Pennsylvania), and Falk Hartwig, Director of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (Munich), discuss the possibilities of systematic reuse of product components, the challenges of traceability and the chances of product portfolio optimization. Organizer of Technology Forum is the Erlanger consulting firm Method Park.

For the first time the technology forum is divided into a workshop and a conference day. On December 3rd is a half-day workshop to develop strategies for efficient variant management. About a “Call for Problems” can actively participate in this workshop participants. On December 4, show Success Stories and Case Studies, how can the variety of products, the complexity and hence the cost control of product development. An entertaining evening event rounds out the conference program.

The twelfth Method Park invites decision-makers from different sectors such as medical technology, the automotive industry and the IT industry to Nuremberg. In addition to know-how transfer are at this year’s Technology Forum back views, experiences and social networking at the center.
