Munich, Germany. November 27, 2015. ADVA Optical Networking announced today that the company has acquired a development department of technology incubator mic AG. The talented team of engineers specializing in the development of optical monitoring technology for fiber optic networks. The expertise of the team will play an important role in the development of the successful ADVA FSP 3000 Access Link Monitoring (ALM) solution. Since its introduction in 2014, the ADVA FSP 3000 ALM was taken as a compact and easy-to-use optical surveillance solution with enthusiasm on the market – a solution that has a gap in the market closed. The new employees will be integrated in Meiningen campus of ADVA Optical Networking and once the acquisition is completed, begin their work there.
