The search engine giant Google threatened trouble because of its privacy and terms of use. German consumer advocates have prevailed in the first instance against the American group. The Berlin Regional Court declared unlawful for a total of 25 clauses, such as the Consumer Federation (vzbv) announced. In about half of these clauses it comes to data protection. The consumer advocates complain that some passages are too vague formulated in the privacy policy of Google.
