Bargain-Mobile: Google Nexus skin for 4 Cheap Price out - ABC Online

Google’s Nexus smartphone upper-class 4 was initially just to get on the net and quickly sold out. Now, the manufacturer reduces prices radically and gives the device at a bargain price-wise – in both the 8 – and the 16-gigabyte version

Google with its Nexus devices seem very successful. As the 4 Nexus smartphone and the tablet Nexus 10 were sold for the first time in November 2012, both units were sold out within minutes. Google to start selling mobile phone and tablet exclusively through its website. Later, the devices were again available in electronics stores – but there much more expensive. Google had both smartphone and tablet for a bargain price: The Nexus 4 cost with 8-gigabyte memory 299 euros, 249 euros with 16 gigabytes – significantly less than comparable devices

Now, Google is going one better and sell the phones. at a bargain price: Both versions cost € 100 less than before. The 8-gigabyte phone with 8 GB now costs 199 euros, the 16-gigabyte unit only 249 euros. The offers are available on each web page in the Google Play. Google had announced the price cuts of 25 percent for Germany, Australia, Canada, Spain, Korea, the USA and Great Britain via Twitter.

Coming soon a successor? Why Google has slashed the prices is unclear. It is likely that soon a successor device comes on the market. Official sales figures for Google Nexus 4 has not been released – so it could also be that the phone was sold out so quickly, because only a few devices were available

Nexus 4 has a 4.7 inch display with a resolution of. 1280 x 768 pixels. In addition, this 8-megapixel camera and a 1.3 megapixel front camera, two gigabytes of memory and quad core processor. The Nexus 4 has no memory card slot, weighs 139 grams and measures 133.9 x 68.7 x 9.1 mm.
