In VW, there are obviously considerations, to say goodbye to the diesel technology. An environmentally friendly production seems to be too complicated. It would be a serious break for Volkswagen.
VW CEO Matthias Müller has indicated a move away from diesel power against the backdrop of exhaust affair of his company. He told the Handelsblatt, through more stringent emission limits in the US from 2020 will probably be hugely expensive diesel technology.
