182 days was the exact age of Windows 8 on the 26th. April 2013, six months after its launch on 26 October 2012. During this time, Microsoft has delivered a total of 739 patches for Windows 8 and Windows RT according to Chief Financial Officer Tami Reller. This corresponds to four updates per day, in other words. Average Windows 8 has been updated since its release once every six hours
The range of patches is large: While the majority of updates has been necessary to vulnerabilities to close and provide more stability in the operating system, but other updates ensured, for example, a better energy management or updated drivers from hardware components
The greatest of all the updates but we still need. Windows 8.1, code name Blue will be released later in the year.
