The Solaria Corporation (Fremont, CA, USA) reported on 10.26.2015 that SunEdison Inc. (Belmont, California, USA), which had agreed world’s largest developer of renewable energy projects, to license Solaria photovoltaic production technology to inexpensive to manufacture its new line of high-performance modules with 400 watts in Mass.
“SunEdisons Solar Materials team has’ completed the development of the new 400-watt module, ZERO WHITE SPACE. It is structured so that the unproductive space around the solar cells is still small, “said Bang Nguyen, Vice President Solar Materials at SunEdison.
“With the license of Solaria’s production technology, we can bring the ZERO WHITESPACE modules much faster time to market. They are our most efficient modules and ideally suited for residential and commercial solar power systems, where often only a limited space is available. ”
