The video game company Ubisoft reports a hacker attack in which user data such as passwords were stolen. However, payment information were not affected.
video game developer Ubisoft has been the victim of a hacker attack, in which user data was stolen. If it were user names, email addresses and encrypted passwords, Ubisoft announced late on Tuesday.

The developer of action games like “Assassin’s Creed” and “Splinter Cell” did not specify how many users are affected and did not provide any further details about the circumstances of the attack. Payment information is not affected, it said, however.
