Hackers will attack Snapchat: Data from 4.6 million users published - RP ONLINE

Berlin. Unknown Users have names and phone numbers of 4.6 million “Snapchat” members posted online. The hackers want to point out security flaws of the app.

Snapchat is a messenger service for smartphones, which is especially popular among young people. With the release of the data track the hacker claims to no harm.

Instead, they want to point to their view, problematic use of Snapchat with vulnerabilities and user data.

The weak point through which the attackers have reached the data is, according to the company, however, now closed.

affected users to be protected from abuse, the hackers have made the last two digits of each phone number defaced. Who wants to check anyway, whether under the publish data that are their own, which can check under http://dpaq.de/vZ3GO entering his Snapchat users name.
