HTC wants to show in the next year a new version of the VR goggles Vive and has for this you now announced a groundbreaking new technology.
HTC has announced a few days ago that the VR goggles Vive not more will come this year on the market. The first quarter of 2016 we will also be unable to comply and therefore directly called April as the deadline.
While we have previously thought that you probably have problems with the production or the like, the reason is quite different. Cher Wang, CEO of HTC, announced at an event in Beijing that have been made in collaboration with Valve a breakthrough in a breakthrough technology for VR goggles. So groundbreaking that you want to incorporate this in the first model of Vive.
According to HTC, it would not have been fair to the Vive now on the market and only a few months later with this new technology in an updated version would afterwards pushed. As the first purchaser would certainly disappointed. Therefore, one has to decide which model to work directly complete.
The new version of HTC Vive is shown at CES 2016, the Las Vegas opens its doors in a little over two weeks. They will probably have ready a new version for developers. HTC has of course not reveal what breakthrough you’ve made. Anyway, we are excited and will report
