It is the largest planet Fund of the story: With the help of the space telescope ‘Kepler’ the space agency Nasa has discovered more than 700 new planets

Nasa space telescope ‘Kepler’ has discovered more than 700 planets around other stars. It is the largest planet discovery of the story of how the U.S. space agency announced in its Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California, on Wednesday. Thus, the number of so-called exoplanets known rises to around the 1700s.
Overall, the “Kepler” researchers confirmed 715 previously unknown planet at 305 stars, as NASA planetary scientist Jack Lissauer reported. 94 percent of the newly discovered planets are smaller than Neptune, four planets orbiting their star in the so-called habitable zone where liquid water could exist. Signs of life, the researchers have not found there.
The Fund was possible to be quickly confirmed by a new analysis technique, with the planetary candidates. The planet hunters “Kepler” was launched in March 2009 and had searched around for four years almost 200 000 stars in the constellation Cygnus for planets. Middle of last year failed one part of the control of the telescope and the observation has ceased operations. The “Kepler” data are not completely evaluated.
